Can anyone find me this imaginary dress?

V neck, linen or linen blend, shift type fit but midi length? No tiers. Sleeveless preferably but don’t mind short sleeves. I’ve looked in all my usual places - Seasalt, White Stuff, Next - but can’t find anything that isn’t fitted but comes below the knee.

So annoying - all the dresses the right length have round necks, which don't suit me, and all the V necked ones are either short or fitted. I need to learn to sew!

Lots of great ideas here, thank you all so much! So far I love the Rise and Fall dress and the Woolovers pinafore looks good too, though I’m not sure about the fabric. The Everlane one is the perfect shape but I don’t want black or cream, sadly.

You definitely need to find a friend who can sew, @LaBelleSauvage123, because that simple style is an absolute doddle to make! You could have a dozen of them in any colour you liked (kind friend permitting) 😉

@exexpat I love that JL dress. Sadly the colour wouldn't work for me
