V neck, linen or linen blend, shift type fit but midi length? No tiers. Sleeveless preferably but don’t mind short sleeves. I’ve looked in all my usual places - Seasalt, White Stuff, Next - but can’t find anything that isn’t fitted but comes below the knee.

I live the colour but the shape is a bit too voluminous. I’ve found the perfect dress in Toast, but can’t afford £195 sadly!

Yes I've seen that one - just wonder if the gathers round the waist would emphasize my belly? Might be worth a try though.

Print or plain, @LaBelleSauvage123 ? This is a budget option, a geometric print and as far as I can see from zooming in, no tiers. They call it a smock but it’s only very loosely gathered, if you look at the video.

Ha - I have a Boden dress that fitted none of my search parameters at the time (it is patterned, I don’t do patterns, and made of viscose, I wanted natural fibres). I think I ordered it by accident thinking it was cotton. I love it! Hope your off-message purchase works out too.
