Posted too soon. I’ve tried it on and it’s knee length, fits like a glove, but is the white acceptably covered by the pattern? Thanks

IMO and that of same people it is fine. It is not at all weddingy.

You will, however, get bombarded with those who think even a whisper of white is too much and "there are so many other colours" and "the bride should be the only splash of white in the photos" 🤔, so brace yourself.

It’s lovely and no one could possibly mistake you for the bride.

Thanks all. It’s my best friends wedding and she’s not at all Bridezilla so wouldn’t care what I wore but equally I don’t want whispers about white dresses and attempts to upstage lol. The green is lovely but just wouldn’t suit my skin tone/hair colour.

Thanks all, looks fairly unanimous that it’s okay. Yes the green is lovely, but I have blonde hair and yellow undertoned skin so think it would make me look queasy. Feel like you’d had to be a bit of a senorita to carry it off! The navy would be nice but too ‘bridesmaid’ I think.

I’m thinking of cerise shoes and a smarter straw style grab bag with tortoiseshell handle, the wedding is fairly boho and relaxed so don’t want to look too stiff and formal. The dress is divine for those of you who like it and want to buy it 😉 flattering length, drapey silky lined fabric, feels very feminine and good quality yet light.

Check with your friend if you aren't sure. Personally I wouldn't wear something that white to a wedding, but if your friend is ok with it that's what matters.
