Where is my black Whistles jacket?

I have one of those jersey Whistles blazers which is incredibly handy and is the only smart thing that works for me at the moment.

It is missing in action. Not in my wardrobe, not in DP’s, not on the coat hooks, not in the dirty washing basket.

I’m slightly desperate. Going away tomorrow evening for a smart work thing on Friday mornjng.

If you were my jacket, where would you be??

On a hanger in your wardrobe but with another coat on top of me which hides me.

Mine would be in on the back of a chair…. In my dining room or my home office. I probably wouldn’t leave it at work. Ummmm back seat of the car?

I think this must be a Whistles staple. Not sure if this is the OP's one or similar but I've got 2 similar to this in black and navy.

I'm not keen on the MN blazer over everything as I don't think blazers and dresses work. Jackets over dresses generally can be problematic but this style and material works well.

If I were the jacket I might also be on the floor, having fallen off my hanger, under the row of coats, jackets and dresses which have spilled out of the wardrobe onto a hanging rail in the box room,

Check inside all bags and ypur car boot.

I would be on a hanger underneath another coat/jacket.

Or on a hanger that's got wedged further back in wardrobe- maybe just behind something else dark, making it even more difficult to see

Definitely in your wardrobe, but fallen off the hanger and now slid half way down at the back. Get it all out, you’ll find another top you forgot you owned whilst you’re at it.

It's also likely to be this one - it comes in lots of colours, jersey, less buttons than your pic.

My navy one is in the spare room wardrobe. Have you checked there ? Been thinking about getting it in black as it’s so useful.

"useful" is a bit of an overworked cliché but that really is such a useful jacket.

I'd be unhelpfully balled up in a pile of dust, squashed under a questionably muddy running shoe, perhaps with a handbag thrown on top. If rescued though I could magically uncrease and be sponged off to look acceptable so no-one would know our collective shame.

In the carry-on bag I used for my last ‘work-away’ trip. Or (rather unhelpful I know) left in a hotel/office/airplane on my last ‘work-away’ trip.

Mine would be either under another jacket on a hanger in the wardrobe. Or in a crumpled mess at the bottom of the wardrobe amongst my shoes, having not realised it fell down there several months ago!

Or it may be in my work bag when I got changed at work as I was going straight out afterwards and I forgot to take it out when I got home.
