I’m so jealous of a New Orleans wedding. The dress is beautiful and very modest more than I thought she’d go for. I’m in ff to find more pics

That's such a beautiful absolutely dateless, vintage-inspired wedding dress. The only wedding dress to me that hasn't dated is Grace Kelly's but this is a classic.

I don’t think it suits her at all sorry. She has such a lovely figure and that dress is like one of those toilet roll holders! Only a skinny waif could get away with that IMO.

A game of two halves for me. Top half is really lovely especially the headpiece with her amazing hair. Bottom half is beyond awful. But she loves it and that’s the main thing.

Gosh. Each to their own, but I think it’s utterly hideous. It’s giving Miss Havisham vibes.

Totally agree - the tiered skirt is not great, if it was a long lace skirt it would be perfect. The rest is gorgeous.

Headdress is beautiful but the bottom half looks as though it's been made from various lengths of net curtains and doesn't flatter her in the slightest.

Definitely Miss Havisham. Just as well we don’t all have to wear what I like, though.

I can't say I like it or that it suits her (she would have looked amazing in something less modest), but at least it is interesting and unusual.

I find it a strange choice for such a singularly beautiful woman. It’s almost as if she wanted to suppress everything familiar about her appearance apart from her hair. It even seems to disguise her wonderful posture.

Athough I like individuality in wedding gowns I just don’t see the attraction of this one.

But I’m sure she had a perfectly splendid day!

I absolutely love CH and I think she is as talented as she is beautiful, but I really don't like that dress on her. It's overly fussy and just doesn't show off her incredible hourglass figure.

I think she'd have looked stunning in a simple, clean lines dress and then a floor length, statement veil with all the detail.

I was just thinking I'd look like one of those toilet roll covers in that. What's with the 1930s style veil? She's stunning and would like great in a sack. I'm not sure this works - the rara wedding dress is not something I'm keen on the look of.

Yeeeeeeah it's awful. The top is beautiful, but the degree of corseting and compression clearly underway is unsettling and the detailing is so intense it's starting to cancel itself out. And then the skirt(s) is just graceless. I wouldn't have chosen the Juliet cap style for the veil myself ever, but it could have looked wonderful with a simpler skirt and a slight reduction in detailing. The veil is actively destroying the lines around her arms and obscuring the detail of the lace sleeves.

I can understand why she didn't want to replicate her first wedding dress, which was arguably a bit basic-bitch for someone as racked as her, but she could have had a very different style which worked a lot better.

Her hair looks amazing. Everything else is shocking.

She is a stunning woman but this dress does her no favours.
