I am always searching for the perfect hair products for my 3 yr old, ringlet-headed son. Currently using Loreal Kids shampoo & Aveda Be Curly conditioner. I am officially a child's hair product bore.

if that cryptic msg was for me cod I will never use the stuff - am too lazy (if I was not I would be toned and firm not cellulitey wouldn't I )

thank you for offer
I just wanted to whinge

Alright I'll put in my tuppence.
since dd started school I've used adult shamppos on her. I used to use the loreal kids blah blah shampoo but realised that her hair was thicker and longer than mine and the kids stuff just didnt do a good job.

Shes 8 now. Its now really thick waist length . I use whatever good quality shampoo/conditioner I can find thats on offer. At the moment its the Aussie long hair version. Makes her hair a bit dull looking but it does keep it fairly untangled. I also use boots cheap and cheerful leave in conditioner after every wash which does make a big difference to tangles. Every night I loosely plait her hair else it takes 3 times as long to brush in the morning.

Twas an issue for me but not a particularly interesting one. Just wanted to find stuff that would detangle dd's hair without loading it up with chemicals.

I now use this to wash

this to condition

and this on the dry ends

They aren't cheap but are skin friendly [ponce]

If she didn't have an afro and I could just wash it without it turning into a big matted mess I'd just use cheapo stuff I think

Another mum of boys here, but they are both keen swimmers so they can end up stinking of clorine which aparently dries out their hair. So would be interested in a kids conditioner. My Aussie 3 minute treatment works well on ds1's hair and he smell gorgeous afterwards!

They are adult products but without the chemicals that you get in most adult products (esp afro ones). Kids products didn't cut it on her hair
