Please choose me a dress for my 30th!

I'm in DIRE need to get out of my comfort zone. I always end up with a black fitted dress for all occasions. Looking for something utterly fabulous for a big birthday.

It's my 30th coming up. I would like to avoid something boxy and sensible. I'm getting my hair and make up done and want to use the chance to look fabulous. It's an outdoor garden party with a festival theme (it's all been planned for me) so I'm trying to find a dress that will suit me and look fabulous. I've attached a pic of me In case it helps at all. I'm 5'3 and a size 6-8.

Budget £150

As I need to factor in new shoes. I still love a heel but will probably wear a wedge as it's on the lawn.

I have no idea what kind of shoes would go with that but that's a really lovely jumpsuit

What kind of festival look are you going for? In my festival days it was jean shorts and band t-shirts but things seem a little sexier these days. Are you looking for long and floaty or hot pants with wellies? Jumpsuit/playsuit/shorts? Dresses mini or midi? All seem to be viable options. When is it will you get cold?

There's glitter a glitter and face paint station so I think it'll be a bit boho but I've never been to a festival in my life (it's on my to do list this year) so I have NO clue!

There's also an outdoor pool but I have no clue if anyone's going to use it.

I immediately thought of Free People too. Even though I generally hate them I love that jumpsuit in every colour. Can’t think of anything better.

@howthefuckdidthathappen I think a wedge would be lovely, you have the figure for this dress too, it's the kind of thing that if you're a bit plumper can look like you're trying to hide, but I think it'll look really nice on you and I think the low back makes it a bit special

This is also a strong contender I love the colour!

So I've dug out some gold wedges so I'll wear those. It's out of this one and the backless one above I think. I'll order them and see which one looks best. Thank you everyone!

Will do it with a gold / brown Smokey eye and nude lipstick with hair in a messy curly bun type thing (if I'm way off the mark here please let me know I'm no good at this, I live in gym wear!)
