New pants (for large bum and tum)

I am sorely tempted to throw out all the underwear I own and start again

I prefer a high waist that will smooth my post baby mum pooch and nothing that's going to cut my ample bottom into 4 pieces 🙈😂

I would like them to be

• not hideous
• no vpl
• available in black or skin coloured

Does anyone have any recommendations?

M&S do a rang of no VPL knickers in all styles and colours. That’s all I wear now.

Do they need to be cotton or can they be microfiber?

M&S Flexifit Modal Full Brief sounds like it would suit. I swear by them and look for similar in underwear as you.

Stop searching! I was the same - chucked out all the M&S ones and replaced with these. Amazing and will do all you want (hides a small belly, fits a bum properly etc!)

Snag, but in leggings I definitely have a vpl but I wear oversized tees so you don't see it

I tried the m and s ones and they do not last, they go in holes near the elastic. My fave lately are from primark, high waist, no vpl, in a slinky fabric. come in a 3 pack for £7 (on hangers in store) come in black, neutral, plus other colours. Flattering, comfortable and properly non vpl

Not sexy but very comfortable and practical - Sloggi knickers.

Primark have black shorts style pants, a bit like cycle shorts but a lot shorter. They're very comfortable, seamless, highish waist. Pack of 3 in black.

Mmm, really comfy. Definite vpl though, but I'd forgive that for the comfort!
