Very hydrating lip balm?!

After a couple of weeks of illness and a week of hives and swollen lips due to a reaction, it’s been left with the most horrendous dry lips 😩

Can anyone recommend any extremely hydrating lip balms? I usually use Elizabeth Arden 8 hour crème but its doing absolutely nothing 😩

Nuxe Reve de Miel is my go to!

Toooldforthis36 · 12/03/2024 22:45

Dr Paw Paw - great stuff

notabletocope · 12/03/2024 22:47

Laneige lip sleeping mask is amazing!

RoseInBloome7 · 12/03/2024 22:50

Vasaline

StrawberryEater · 12/03/2024 22:53

I know this will sound odd but Lansinoh! I had some left over after breast feeding. Can’t remember why I first tried it on my (extremely) dry lips but I have never looked back. Better than anything else I have ever used - including EA 8 hour creme.

O'Keefes and they do a good night one too

ToBeOrNotToBee · 12/03/2024 23:03

O'Keefes, sorts my lips out like no other.

SgtJuneAckland · 12/03/2024 23:07

Dr Pawpaw overnight lip mask I got some in a beauty advent calendar and it's incredible

Smittenkitchen · 12/03/2024 23:08

Clinique moisture surge, though I can't say I've tested it with extremely dry lips.

SgtJuneAckland · 12/03/2024 23:08

Also just read PP above and yes Lansinoh DS went through a phase of licking his lips and around them making the skin and lips very chapped and sore , nothing else worked then Lansinoh overnight was nothing short of a miracle

Neverpostagain · 12/03/2024 23:10

Vaseline seconded

Nuxe Reve de Miel is my go to!

Seconded!

Inyourwildestdreams · 13/03/2024 05:45

Thanks everyone 🙌🏻 very helpful 😊

Vaseline doesn’t help me on a normal day so there’s no way it would sort this out unfortunately 😬 I don’t actually think it’s moisturising? Just more of a barrier?

Ive been using Lansinoh as a barrier when I’m out in the cold (north Scotland) to stop them getting worse 😬

Dr Paw Paw lip mask has been tried with very little success 😩 although, usually I would agree - really good for normal dry lips. Mine are just very extreme at the moment!

Clinique one doesn’t work for me unfortunately 😩

Have done a lip balm haul for the O’Keefes, Laneige and Nuxe so fingers crossed we have a winner in there 😩🤞🏼

Second for Laneige but not the sleeping mask. Suggest the intensive lip balm instead. Pink pot with an applicator.

HellooooJackie · 13/03/2024 06:08

Try Blistex - more of an ointment rather than a balm but works for me when I have very very dry and cracked lips.

Nuxe Reve de Miel is my go to!

Definitely this ⬆️ I've tried loads and this is the best.

Toooldforthis36 · 13/03/2024 06:23

Forgot to say I often use a lip scrub - Kiko one in pink tube is good 👍

UnimaginableWindBird · 13/03/2024 06:25

I have horrifically dry lips and skin allergies and Blistex is my go-to, sometimes combined with La Roche Posay.

concernedchild · 13/03/2024 06:33

Aquaphor. It's the only thing that will help me

fishstiks · 13/03/2024 06:59

Aquaphor! Don't waste your time with anything else

jalopy · 13/03/2024 07:01

Lanolips.

sandgrown · 13/03/2024 07:03

My daughter swears by Reve de Miel by Nuxe

Sparkletastic · 13/03/2024 07:05

Reve de Miel is unparalleled

JaneIves · 13/03/2024 07:31

Another Nuxe fan here!
