Is Micheal Kors tacky ?

I'm thinking of Michael Kors sandals which have MK in gold on the buckle

Yeah, really cheap looking. I still wear my MK sunglasses but wouldn't have a bag or anything with an obvious logo.

My thoughts are wear whatever the fuck you want. I’m assuming these are a minimum £100-£200. Unless I’m no longer with the times I thought ‘tacky’ was cheap and badly made. These are anything but cheap, if you’re brave enough to post a pic we’ll probably find they’re nicely made too.

It's a bit ubiquitous, and so many fakes. I haven't used my MK bags for a while, which is sad, because they are lovely.

Sorry but yes from me. I don’t like anything with obvious branding or logos though so I think clothes and bags with an instantly I dentifying logo on is a bit tacky!
God knows why dh thought to buy me one of those bloody obnoxious mark jacobs tote bags for Christmas… 😂

Tacky or not, if you hold off just now and wait long enough (for sandals we are talking "wait until spring kicks in") then you will buy those for the third of the price in TK Maxx... Always on sales.

I know nothing about designer names so googled. I genuinely thought that these were a cheapo knockoff kind of designer you'd get on a market- always worn round here by the tackiest looking lasses with dodgy fake tan and spider false eyelashes. So I'd say that the brand is definitely naff, sorry OP.

Obv if you like them wear them but to my taste they've always looked naff and over branded, and now look dated.

Not tacky so much as very uncool. Sort of brand people who have no idea about brands buy thinking they are buying designer

Michael Kors COLLECTION is actually very expensive and high end but the brand has ruined its image with the cheap MK, Michael Michael Kors and Kors lines.
I don't know anyone who would buy a Michael Kors collection bag and pay £1500 for a bag that people would associate with the cheap lines
