clubbing - what to wear?

A friend is having her hen do next week and part of it is a cheesy nightclub in London. What should I wear? Its years (literally) since I went "clubbing" I have no idea what's the right look.

I'm large of nork and hate my upper arms. Legs not too bad. I want to look funky but not mdl... but equally don't want to look like an embarassing parent! ... Help!

Trashtastic
That does have its merits

I have that new look top & its lovely. I have it in grey & black it can be dressed up or down. I wear mine if I am going in to town with a black satin pencil skirt. That sort of look would be fine for clubbing.

Remember that a lot of clubs don't allow people in that are wearing jeans or trainers.

The god of shopping did not smile on me yesterday (there are some really ropey clothes out there though!). I at least have an idea of what I'm looking for though - thanks all!

once a goth you say?

Could be the outfit youve been looking for?

GloriaMumble · 26/03/2008 07:51

now if that was purple and black rather than red and black, you'd be on to something there iMum - those were the days

to be fair you could go out wearing this with jeans-norks would be well supported and as for your arms, folk with be so busy looking at your ahem assetts they would be "she has arms?"

Obviously being 19 and dancin at the batcave would help too.

daydreaming eh!?!

It is gorgeous. I must be very lucky as I have only got a 23" waist even after having 2 large babies
