Wow dress for a school ball

My son leaves school this summer and we have an evening dinner dance. I am looking for something a bit special. Not black and no split to the thigh dress. I'm in good shape but at nearly 60 looking for something classy.
I have my eye on a Me and Em dress but it has an eye watering price tag.
Where else can I look?

If you already have a fab jumpsuit then job done I’d have thought! Unless you want something new/a dress specifically!

I wore this to a school ball in December. It was super comfortable, and I had loads of compliments…..Kate Middleton wore a similar style a few weeks later. Only need to fake tan your arms ;-)
