I went to Signature clinic in Glasgow

I am 54. I did it because I aged dramatically at around 51-53. I was in agony for about 40 hours. Then uncomfortable for a few weeks.

all done at once - 4 hours under local
it was 3 months ago and I’m just back to normal- neck still a bit stiff

4 hours under local! I would honestly be a mess, very brave OP. Results look really good, glad you are happy- I don’t think I’d ever have the guts to do it, but especially under local.

Why did you choose a local? Were you worried you’d pass out? and do the consultants ask you in advance if you’ll be ok under just local anaesthetic?

Are you happy with the results and do you still feel and look like yourself (in your eyes)? You feel it was worth it?

Wow 10k for all that work, that's excellent. Here in Bristol it's 20k so I was thinking about going abroad but I'm concerned if I do they will mess up my face and I'll have no back up.

Do you think you could have hidden that you got that done? Only once healed. I was bruised for several weeks and had to wear a support garment.

Can't recall the breakdown, but whole bill was £10k.

What are the negatives?
Only the recovery time really. First 48 hours was rough. After that, it wasn't too bad.

Didn't fancy a general, with the risks. But this clinic only do local anyway.

Very happy with the results. Eye bags gone. Hooded lids gone. No more turkey neck. I don't think I look much younger, I mean maybe 5-10 years. You can still tell I'm a mature woman, but I just look like a much less haggard version of myself.

There are 6 locations in the UK. I think London would be your closest.

if so do you think losing weight would have helped first?

I am a bit overweight. I'm not sure it made much difference tbf.
