I will probably by both just in case and hopefully return only one of them.

I prefer the Hetty dress. I think the pattern is more flattering, its more contemporary looking and younger looking.

No 2, less blocky. No.1 is doing absolutely nothing for the model

PickUpFullOfPinkCarnations · 01/02/2024 00:05

I agree, the second one is much nicer.

HeddaGarbled · 01/02/2024 00:06

Hetty: better length and nicer neckline.

SweetBirdsong · 01/02/2024 00:06

Second one is less hideous than the first. That's the best I can say.

Astonetogo · 01/02/2024 00:08

Agreed. #2 much more flattering.

Mumoftwo1312 · 01/02/2024 00:12

I love them both, where are they from?

WolvesDiscoandBoogaloo · 01/02/2024 00:15

I prefer the first one. The second one looks like a bathroom floor.

Lavender14 · 01/02/2024 00:18

Both are nice but i prefer hetty. The first one looks like you're getting cut in half by a magician- I know that's kind of the point but I can't get past that image!

The very lovely model can't make 1 look good, I think it's a lost cause.

breathinbreathout · 01/02/2024 00:23

The pattern on 2 makes it more flattering and wearable.

DuesToTheDirt · 01/02/2024 00:25

They're both very 80s. Is that back in fashion now?

Enko · 01/02/2024 00:26

I like no 1 better simpler and more classy for me.

😆

First one could be hard to wear but I think I agree

That is what I thought! I miss leg warmers. I know, they flattered no one, and if you can remember wearing it the first time around you probably shouldn’t wear it the second time around.

Hetty is much more flattering and visually interesting.

DramaAlpaca · 01/02/2024 03:43

Neither are good, but the first one is marginally better.

I detest the pattern and colour combination of the second one.

Mummyoflittledragon · 01/02/2024 03:55

The second one is better. The colour blocking looks wrong in the first picture. The combination of just off centre and only split in two doesn’t work imo.

Fitandfree · 01/02/2024 05:39

Tamina looks classier, I'd suit having the darker colour next to my face. It's too short for me though. Hetty looks cheap and far too 80's. It's nearly spring, is it worth buying?

Luckingfovely · 01/02/2024 05:53

Woah fugly alert! I agree that Hetty is slightly less awful than the other but it's a close run thing.

Unless you're going to a 'Worst Of The 80s' theme party I'd think again Grin

RosesAndHellebores · 01/02/2024 05:58

I think if you have a perfect figure you could get away with one or the other. I marginally prefer the first but wish it were longer.

I was in London and in my 20s throughout the 80s. I have no recollection of the style at all.

GaryLucyusedtobemycrush · 01/02/2024 06:02

The first one makes me think oh Cruella de vil I’m afraid. The second one is better. I think the first one is also made worse by the boots it’s been teamed with.
