Jumpers to wear to dinner?

We are off skiing at half term and the hotel we stay at is always freezing (well I am freezing no one else seems to be!) so I end up wearing a jumper to dinner. In previous years I have ended up wearing a hideous jumper that I packed in order to have a jumper - this year I would like to have a couple of jumpers that actually look like I had intended to wear them to dinner and can form part of an outfit. I can't wear anything tight/clingy because I have an awful menopause tummy that is not going anywhere in the next two weeks - I'm 5ft3 and size 12/14 so am trying not to end up looking like the abominable snowman. Any ideas of where I should look, what could look decent/stylish/put together whilst being cosy?

John lewis have some cashmere ones in the sale, I've just ordered a cream one with side splits .

I love Dale of Norway, they don’t come cheap but they are good quality.

I'm always cold, so love a jumper that's a bit different for nights out.

I've got these three from Manamou.co.uk, it's local to me but they have an online website - none are over £35, all non itchy and they cover my tummy.

I love this shop too! I order online as in Essez.

Woolovers and Quernstone are favourites....

If it's knitwear for dinner - ie. feeling a bit special and dressed up, then I'd think about what jewellery to wear with it. It's not just about the knit (which no matter how exciting as part of an overall outfit just gets seen from lower ribs up at table). Doesn't need to be be much (I'd do earrings or necklace) but think it through and make a choice.

Totally agree with @semideponent, plain jumpers can be glammed up for night time.
A chunky necklace around the neckline is a great, I even wear them around my polo necks.
I've also got those fake shirt collar things to wear under some of my v neck jumpers.
I also bought some deep sequin stretchy cuffs for over Christmas.
I'm also loving the big Bottega Venetta style earrings that are everywhere at the moment.
