Clinique City Block Sheer SPF25 replacement

I’m reaching the end of my final tube and I need a replacement. I’ve been using this for years and I’m so disappointed that it’s been discontinued. I’ve tried the Superdefense version and I didn’t get on with it - it felt greasy and shiny (which is impressive on my dry skin!)
I’m looking for the holy grail of an SPF (at least 25), which will provide very gentle covering to even my skin tone. Or something without SPF that I can use over La Roche-Posay SPF50.
I should add my skin can be quite sensitive. It’s currently the best it’s ever been with a combination of La Roche-Posay, Tropic and No7.
Please help!

I’ve been searching for a replacement for the spf 40 since may 2022!
In desperation I went back to the spf 25 but found they have definitely done something to that too but I hadn’t realised they were discontinuing it also.

I had loads of suggestions, some very disappointing, some far too expensive to consider. I’m interested to see any new suggestions because I am now desperate.

I miss city block spf40, used it for years and wish they would bring it back! However I just started using rosalique (as I now have rosacea), and I really like it. It’s spf 50 and has a similar primer effect to city block. You can order samples from their website

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Skin Insurance Tinted is great but very expensive, Chantecaille tinted moisturiser is also good (not as good) but comes in a bigger tube.

It’s the environmental protection, along with it being a good spf, that I miss.

rosalique have sold out of samples but I will keep checking.
Sarah Chapman & Chantecaille way out of my price range! I haven’t even checked if they are mineral or chemical.

TBF I love Erborian for how it looks, I just don’t know how it performs spf wise, it’s chemical, and there’s no environmental protection. I never had any issue spf wise with super city block spf 40 or city block spf 25, everything else I’ve tried so far has resulted in red cheeks and nose so really isn’t offering as good protection.

Ah, amazing! I didn’t even think to check the Clinique website as I’d been told ages ago that it was discontinued. I’ve just bought 3! Lifesaver - thank you!

Also miss the SPF40 version, but that’s definitely discontinued 😢
