I bought a shortie wetsuit from Regatta and a pair of Rockdog trainers. Thats it. On a no spend now until dh gets back to work

I just ordered a 5kg ham from Fortnums reduced from £165 to £70. Bought one last year, it freezes perfectly if sliced! Makes wonderful ham and eggs and chips!

I’ve bought a half price waterproof coat from Landsend, and 3 t-shirts. They are staple items and I have 6 in different colours. Some sketchers waterproof boots( see a theme here) .and a pair of adesso summer sandals. All great value.

Saw this in M&S and was tempted but decided not. Saw it in the sale and went for it. It arrived this morning andI am very happy with it and more subtle than when I saw it under the store lights. Brora cord is lovely though. I've got a few things and quality is great, washes really well. I always buy in sale though. If you can hold your nerve, they may be reduced further about 3 weeks after Brora sale starts.

I bought an Orla Kiely bedding set, super king with pillow cases for under a hundred quid. The algorithm knows me so well.

Also got a faded, all saints style grey t-shirt with waist twist for a fiver in Sainsbury's 😂 Bagged a luxury Christmas pudding while I was in there, to follow our New Year's Day roast.

Hidden I have that coat in a sort of stone colour. It looks great on but I found it sweaty in warmer weather, probably better this time of year.

I've fallen in love with a Jaeger coat but it's sold out in my size. Is it likely that M&S show returns as back in stock online or do they just end up on a shop floor?

@HundredMilesAnHour we had the Porsche one years ago and it was rubbish. Currently have a Dualit which is also rubbish. I'm going back to ten pound ones after this.

I bought walking boots today from Go Outdoors. DH has a card and also gets an additional discount as a Scout leader so a bit of a bargain. Also (not S&B) sorted through a wardrobe at my dad's and found several Nintendo games which should sell well.

Re LED facemasks: I got the Neutrogena one from Boots about 5/6 years ago for my teen to help with acne. It had red and blue light. She didn't use it - so I tried it and loved it. My skin looked great and best of all my dark under eye hollows were much reduced even though it was never directly on my eye area. I was very sorry when they recalled it/ stopped making the power packs for it.
I have tried a handheld Light Stim device since then but results not as good. I'm wary of investing in expensive mask in case it doesn't work (and it's harder to keep mask away from eye area) and wouldn't dream of buying one of the cheap Amazon Chinese ones because I worry about potential adverse effects on eyesight.

@Cyclingmummy1 My Porsche one was fab but I bought it in Copenhagen quite a few years before they started selling them in the UK so maybe they were different models completely? I've since had a Magimix one - for the last 10+ years! It was actually my 'living overseas' kettle but it's just lasted and lasted and today is the first time I've seen a kettle that I like enough to spend the money on to replace it. I've been tempted by Sage and Smeg but never tempted quite enough to buy one. I guess we'll find out if this is style over substance.🙄

I've ordered some Vans x 2 but will only keep one pair, a pair of trousers and sweatshirt from hush and a pair of denim shorts and a bomber jacket from mango. I've become obsessed with Louisa's jacket in the latest series of slow horses and the mango was the closest I could find. It may be woeful on me when it comes though. Oh and some new gel nail polishes to add to my collection along with a lot of kids clothes for my eldest. Am 100% done now
