I got a medium Canfield c in orange. Would consider a swap for a large or medium backpack. I don't mind the orange, but I'm less keen on the strap on the front pocket.
Also got a little Paddington hip bag in grey, which I rather like.

No, actually they changed the wording after most people had ordered @marniemae, it's not that you didn't read correctly. Someone posted a screenshot of the old wording and the new wording earlier, and the old wording was very misleading.

It is lovely. I’ve decided to keep the grey one after all (I’ve already been using it this afternoon!) but I’d swap it for my black one if you would be interested in that?

I ended up with 5 last year after not being able to contain myself... I have zero need... but after seeing so many photos of nice colours and patterns I may have to give it a bash again this year!

I got the same and just sold it on eBay - it was bought within hours of me listing it, and then I bought the colour I liked with the money from an eBay shop that was offering 20% off Roka bags so could be worth you doing the same. Although, there was a poster on here that was interested in the bag, but I didn’t like the bag that she got so didn’t swap..

I had never heard of this company until the thread last year.
It’s probably great marketing for them and to suggest people come to mumsnet for swaps is a master stroke.

Oo thanks @WinterNamechange for the tip I might do this! Although it does fit in more than I expected and maybe it's good to have a pattern I wouldn't have gone for off my own choice. I'll have a think but thanks for the advice for selling if I decide to do that 😀

I got a medium Bantry B in orange, perfect for my cousins birthday gift. Now just ordered another large lucky dip & hoping for a Canfield or Finchley for myself. Fingers crossed

That’s the wording now, @Delassalle , but it wasn’t when we ordered.

It’s not a matter of not read it properly, but of them subsequently changing the wording - presumably as a result of customer feedback.

There was another one for sale on vinted yesterday too and looks like that sold quickly too, so obviously a popular pattern - it just wasn’t right for me as I don’t ever wear pastel colours!

Still waiting for mine to be delivered by Royal Mail? Ordered in 26 December so getting a bit impatient now! Has anyone else been waiting this long?

In all honesty I might have thought twice about the large lucky dip had I known I'd probably be sent a small bag, calling it a "large" lucky dip, putting a picture on of a bigger bag and making no mention of the fact they intend to send out small bags is extremely misleading, they should really offer an exchange to those of us that ordered the large ahead of them changing the advert.

Here is the Finchley Medium in Custard I received today which is now going into the post. Loved the thread last year and have enjoyed it again this year although seeing the small rucksacks coming through led me wobble so I ordered a Bantry medium in Peri Purple with Christmas money as current Roka ruckie is looking a little tired. Thanks to the OP, to @PuzzlingRecluse for the swap and Lesley at Roka who sorted my original order when I messed it up. I will now have to sit on my hands and enjoy seeing everyone else’s orders arrive.
