Regret over 1k Chanel shoes too small :(

I bought some Chanel shoes and in the shop they felt perfect but since wearing I don't know if my feet have grown but my toes slightly touch the front and it makes me not want to reach for them anymore.

They're loafers without laces so I am in two minds if the bigger size would have even fit better as maybe there would have been slippage.

They don't feel uncomfortable massively there could be more tow box room but I have narrow feet.

I have just been reading up on Google says there should be half inch between your foot and end of shoe and when that happens shoes generally slip.

Any solutions? Am I mad to try and find a bigger size and sell the ones I have?

I 'break in' new shoes by wearing them in my house without socks, in place of slippers, for a few weeks. This will stretch them a bit and also ensure you don't get blisters when you start wearing them outside.

Canvas shoes do stretch, my Superga’s were really uncomfortable for the first few wears they are fine now.

Two pairs of socks - sit on the sofa with them on. They soon stretch.

@OneRingToRuleThemAll do you have narrow feet?

No, very average feet. Not narrow or wide.

What size are we talking? 😉

£1k for a pair of shoes?

I'd prob try a cobbler not timpson but one who deals in designer shoes. I know there were a few who used to sort out Christian loubs shoes. I'd google a decent cobbler. Your shoes ain't cheap and I wouldn't let timpsons near them ( but I've had a few bad experiences with them)

People pay thousands on handbags, suitcases, jackets, jewellery, pets etc.
I like reading the advent calendar threads even though I could never justify spending £££ on an advent calendar for myself, but I don't begrudge others who can. Nor could I justify spending £££ on any fashion, but I'm chuffed when folk do, because dc gave me a lovely hat and gloves (cashmere) which they found in a charity shop, I'm totally stoked (best Christmas present I've had), and think it's awesome someone donated them, and dc clubbed together to get them....no chance could they have afforded them new!
See if stretching the shoes works op, or just wear them for 5 mins a day gradually building it for a bit longer....just don't give yourself corns doing it.

I've loosened shoes by dampening the inside then wedging a warm wheat bag in like a substitute foot.

Shoes that cost a grand and aren’t even leather?
