yes to both

High heels a must IMO

berolina · 14/03/2008 19:45

Yes, it's very pretty.

Nice, unfussy necklace, definitely.

GooseyLoosey · 14/03/2008 19:45

Yes and I would probably wear it with black shoes etc (but I should warn you, I am not reknowned for my sartorial elegance)

Bumblelion · 14/03/2008 19:46

Like the M&S one - but then I don't do colours (especially red).

So you'll hate this one Bumblelion!

GooseyLoosey · 14/03/2008 19:47

Like the first one better

moondog · 14/03/2008 19:47

Red dress better-don't like neckline of black one.

brimfull · 14/03/2008 19:48

Like the two red ones
not keen on per una one

simple high heels would suffice I think
and nice bracelet

LarryVeest · 14/03/2008 19:48

Yes, particularly to the first one.

Would wear with string of big beads and a chunky bangle. Definitely high heels.

Beenleigh · 14/03/2008 19:48

Love love love the bardot dress, principles, quite like the first one but I don't generally like printed jersey as I think it looks cheap, but that's just me, that print is lovely, I really don't like the M & S one, I think it looks frumpy.

MamaG · 14/03/2008 19:48

I think you can only carry off the principals one if thin and small of nork

Heated · 14/03/2008 19:48

Which one do you think I'll get more wear out of afterwards? Or am I fooling myself?

1.Yes

  1. Yes
  2. Def yes!!
Lomond · 14/03/2008 19:49

The red one is lovely

ViolentFemme · 14/03/2008 19:49

I LOVE the Bardot dress!

Bumblelion · 14/03/2008 19:50

Heated - actually your Principle's red dress is gorgeous, but, for me, I couldn't wear it but would be envious of anyone who did. It is lovely.

Unfortunately I am (heavily) highlighted blonde - (sounds nice, doesn't it) and I find that bright colours do not suit me but that Principles dress is lovely.

I imagine someone with dark hair wearing it and looking stunning.

Janni · 14/03/2008 19:51

The Principles one is gorgeous but is not the one you would get most wear out of. Depends if you want to make a splash or save some cash.

Thanks ladies for your positive comments - no ones hated the dresses which is a big plus. The wedding is a friend of dh's so don't really want to go all out on an expensive outfit unless I can wear it again (don't do a lot of weddings). Otherwise something cheap would be better.

The wedding is at the end of the month, so likely to be a bit nippy, so do you think a black bolero style cardigan would work? Black shoes?
