Love the Debenhams one - am tempted by it myself (forgot for a moment am pregnant). pRINCIPLES ONE IS LOVELY, BUT YOU'D HAVE TO TRY IN AND HAVE THE RIGHT FIGURE.

nonot black, black cardi and accessories really obvious, would bring the outfit down, maybe gold??? or matching shoes, and tonal cardi??

Beenleigh · 14/03/2008 20:31

how about fklat ballet pumps, like this however, I don't know what you like to wear and think you may prefer heels from other posts....... hmm

mazzystar · 14/03/2008 20:35

maybe red shoes and a silvery grey pashmina
high, chunky heeled slingbacks, maybe a platform or a peep toe- keep it 50's ish
i think a bolero or cardi of any sort would kill the neckline

I like them both and might wear the same for a wedding i'm going to unless you're about to tell me the wedding you're going to is in Shropshire in May?

Thanks so much ladies for your helpful comments. Since having the dcs I've been suffering from a crisis of confidence on the clothes front. Or if I do find something nice I'm at a loss at how to accessories it.

If it helps, figure wise I'm a 34D, flat stomach but not as tautly nipped at the sides as I used to be before dcs so I prefer clothes with a bit of structure or a flared skirt rather than clinging to every bump, I'm curved rather than boyish and 5ft 6 tall. Oh and dark hair, quite pale (don't do pastels).

Yes. Needs heels to make it dressy. Accessories not too fussy. Chique, simple hair do.

Ledodgy, I think you're safe for Shrophire! Derbyshire in March me.

Right, so no black, and love the idea of chunky slingbacks - but this is where I get it so wrong!
