Polene bags - purchased in last year?

As title really, anyone purchased a Polene bag recently am keen to hear your experience. DH was just about to purchase a gift for me and have been listing after both the 9 and 10, however trust pilot reviews are really bad. Am basically looking for someone to enable my purchase as haven’t seen much else I love anywhere! Recommendations welcome too!

I bought the 10 in a tan colour about a year ago.

I love it. I think the quality is great for the price, it goes with just about everything. I use it almost every day.

Thanks @SunRainStorm ! It’s either the camel or beige I’m considering. Can I ask how much you can fit in? I was steering more towards the nine as think it looks roomier. Is it holding up well, seen some criticism of quality.

It's held up really well, still looks brand new.

It isn't big but I find it big enough for every day. I have a slim wallet, asthma inhaler, sunglasses (no case), big iPhone, hand sanitizer, a couple of lipsticks etc and it just holds it all.

If you tend to travel light it's going to be fine.

I have number one nano (bought a year ago) and I have just purchased Cyme Mini this weekend. I'd love to buy number nine next.
I think their bags are beautiful, my number one looks brand new even though I was using it quite a lot this year.

Eek, following with interest as I’ve got the regular Cyme on pre-order, website says due to be shipped 13 December.

some of the comments on their social media are pretty concerning but YouTube reviews are mostly positive (though I know some are gifted)

Thanks everyone. I’ve ended up going for the ten in taupe, which wasn’t one of the colours I was deliberating but think I’ll get lots of wear out of it. I was considering the nine but think the ten will work for both work and casual at weekends. It’s in stock and says 6 days for delivery so fingers crossed it arrives and quality is good. 🤞

Sorry to hijack the thread OP but my preordered Cyme arrived today (a few days earlier than expected!) and looks fabulous, no concerns with my order or the bag received so hopefully this will help anyone thinking of ordering :)

@PepsiMaxLime that looks beautiful! 😍 is that the cognac colour?
I ordered on Wednesday and was advised six days for delivery, have got a note from DHL saying delivery on Monday so fingers crossed it arrives then. Can’t wait!

I bought a polene bag in 2017 and within weeks the stitching in the handle was coming undone. They did repair it when asked but I had to pay for it to be sent back. Hopefully the quality has improved since then.

@JoanDarc no this is the camel colour, I didn’t take the pic in the best lighting! I was wavering between this and the cognac.

@PepsiMaxLime that’s been the annoying thing for me, deciding on colours. I don’t think their returns are the best or else I would have ordered a couple of colours. Love the camel in your pic, looks a cooler colour than the website.

I bought mine a few years ago and the quality is really good. I've heard the quality has since declined due to the brand getting more popular.

Got my Polene delivery yesterday! Pretty good for an international order as only placed on Wednesday. Bag is beautiful, stitching seems perfect, lovely colour which I’m relieved about as had a list minute change to the taupe. The bag (No. 10) is however smaller than I thought and associated smaller opening. Think it will very much be used for weekends/ off duty and I can then justify the no. 9 for my main work bag.

I came here to say that's good that you got your No.10 before the January price raise OP!
I believe No.10 was one of the bags that got the biggest raise - not sure about £, but I saw people from the US say it went $150 more expensive overnight which is crazy if you ask me.

I might have also ordered No.10 yesterday because Polene's supposed to raise their prices tomorrow in Japan. Funny how France and other countries didn't get any heads up but Japanese customers did

Wow @toucaninjapan I’m so pleased I ordered both my bags as they’ve had significant increases, the 10 I’m sure I paid £360 in December and is now £420. I also caved and bought the nine over the festive period and it’s went to £440, was £370.

What colour did you get your No.9 in @JoanDarc ? Smile 

This is my small collection by the way. Un nano looks like it might have a bit of piling on the corners at the bottom on the photo, but those are actually stitches that you see, I have had no quality issues whatsoever this far.
I've ordered my No. 10 in blue crocodile print and they have already shipped it in 1 day - guess they don't have too many orders now so everything's faster🙈

@toucaninjapan I swithered over colour for weeks. The #9 was going to replace my old work bag, a tan coach one, so was keen to get a slightly different colour and the camel seemed to similar. Ended up getting the beige which I love, if returns were easy I would have bought both to see in the flesh.
I do love it and think it will look lovely in summer too. I’ve sprayed it with leather protector as worried it will look shabby quicker as it is pale.

I’ve just ordered a polene un nano in textured black. It’s preordered so won’t be until feb that I receive it and this thread has me so excited! First ever polene and first ever bag that’s cost over £50!

@JoanDarc beautiful bags! Beige colour looks lovely and versatile - you have already got a cool neutral (Dix in taupe) while beige would work well with warmer shades.

@CandleWick4 I'm sure you'll love your new bag! Un nano is such a cute bag, it's also been my first purchase from Polene Wine

@toucaninjapan that’s beautiful! 😍 @CandleWick4 I’m sure you’ll love the un nano, if I was buying another one it would be a contender. Please let us know what you think of it when it arrives and more importantly what it holds. The dix is surprisingly small inside and slightly awkward to access.
