I think of Elnett Satin hairspray, Vitapointe intensive hair conditioner and her lovely lipsticks.

Mine used Crowes Cremine to take her makeup off. All the females in my family have loved their makeup actually.

My DM uses Nivea soft to take her makeup off

Both my grandmothers used red lipstick which had a specific scent, sort of candle waxy and like lily flowers

Oh and Chanel No 5. I have my grandmother's 1970s sponge bag with her Scrabble tiles in and it still faintly whiffs of it!

Cremolia hand cream with the blue and gold label, and Tweed and Miss Dior perfumes.

One of my grans also had lovely handbags.

Oh, and Cyclax moisturiser.

I never met either of my grandmothers, but Youth Dew perfume makes me think of my late aunt, who would have been nearly 100 if she hadn't died in her 70s.

GM 1 who is sadly no longer with us used Wrights Coal Tar soap. I have some which I like a sniff of occasionally.

Mum used to use Oil of Ulay.

Proper lipstick in gold containers with a little "switch" you pressed to stick it up

Camay and Imperial Leather soaps.
