What is on your Christmas wish list for under £50?

Nellynoo182 · 03/11/2023 21:11

My birthday and Christmas are very close together and the time of year is coming where my lovely family ask me what would I like… of course all year round I have ideas and then my mind goes blank as soon as November hits.

I have a 1 year old and currently pregnant with my 2nd DS so avoiding clothes (as I have no idea what size I am) and experience gifts (as minimal time at the minute child free).

What is on your wish list MNetters? Thank you!

Silk pillowcase
Dock and bay hair wrap
Perfume

Cornflowers35 · 03/11/2023 21:17

An electric blanket.

I currently have 3 hot water bottles, my winter duvet, a throw and blanket.

I'll have to treat myself to it, as I'll probably just get something from my DSM and we have a small budget for gifts for adults.

Kellioo · 03/11/2023 21:22

Oodie (£39 atm)
Molton brown shower gel
Sheepskin slippers
Nail voucher
Pyjamas
Candles
Nice face cleanser/moisturiser/eye cream

My sister always gets me fancy shampoo and conditioner, it usually lasts until summer and is such a nice treat.

maw29 · 03/11/2023 21:26

I want a greenhouse (Argos sale for £29.99)

Nellynoo182 · 03/11/2023 21:28

Silk pillowcase is a great shout! Especially when the dreaded post natal hair fall out begins again… thank you @bookgirl1982

Couldn’t be without our electric blanket @Cornflowers35 i think we got ours from The Range and it was much cheaper than when looking online. Everything online seems so much more expensive than in store now!

Some great suggestions too @Kellioo My gran always buys me the loccitane cherry blossom moisturiser that lasts all year and is a lovely treat! Might have a look at the other products in that range actually. Thanks everyone!

I was recently treated to an electric blanket as DH couldn’t take another year of me saying how much I want one. I can’t believe I never bought myself one before now. It’s honestly the best thing ever for snuggling under in the evening or keeping warm while working from home. I’m obsessed!
