Are these M&S jeggings any good?

After trying 5 million different types of jeans over the past couple of years, I've accepted that jeggings are for me. I like the look of these M&S ones, does anyone know if they're any good? I'm size 8-10 but a bit short - 5ft2.

I gave a couple of pairs of these, they fit well and don’t go saggy after wearing so I am happy!

Gowlett · 02/11/2023 13:28

The only jeggings I’ve tried are M&S, I found them good.

MademoiselleFrenglish · 02/11/2023 13:34

Thank you, am going to order them now! 😊

Another Yes from me.

Itsbecauseiamamum · 02/11/2023 13:37

Yes they are good and keep shape. It’s just a shame that the clothes this season are generally underwhelming and the shirts are that revolting itchy polyester material.

Roseandrose20 · 02/11/2023 13:39

Yes I like them, I’m 5f3 and have them in petite.

MademoiselleFrenglish · 02/11/2023 13:45

I got them in petite size 10, I figure they're better to be too big than too small as at least I can bring the waist in a little bit if needed. I've been more and more interested in M&S lately, so probably the first purchase of many!

I've got multiple pairs in 16 and 18- wash well , don't sag , look good with both tops and dresses over

user1486915549 · 02/11/2023 14:23

Yes , I have several pairs in different colours. They wash well and last for ages

HopAPot · 02/11/2023 14:25

Yes, they’re my day to day go to, comfortable and wash really well.

novalia89 · 02/11/2023 14:51

I had a pair of the black ones and they became grey after only a few washes. They were still wearable and very comfortable but after not many more washes they started to look scruffy.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/11/2023 15:00

Yes, I love these and also have several pairs . (including a white pair which are not see through thankfully)

Many years ago ( 15+ years) they did their famous 5 pocket jeggings which were more like jeans (had 5 pockets, zip, and belt loops ) which were brilliant .

I have a couple of the black pairs , older pair is looking a bit tired now . My new ones I only wash with other black clothes and a dark colour liquid detergent , they look fine .

Odev · 02/11/2023 15:03

I find them hit and miss. Despite buying in the same size, some can feel tighter than others

I remember DS4 was asked at his work place how he managed to keep his black jeans black. This also works for my M&S leggings, which I've had since they were called super skinnies:
Turn them inside out & leave them inside until after you've ironed them.
Wash them at 30 degrees, using non-biological washing liquid & a small amount of fabric softener. Dry on the washing line or on an airer rather than tumble dry. Iron.

cheapskatemum · 02/11/2023 15:24

Leave them inside out, d'oh!

KirstenBlest · 02/11/2023 15:27

I wash everything inside out then line dry, and the inside fades but the outside doesn't. Fabric conditioner is horrible.

RogerTaylorsdrumstool · 02/11/2023 15:27

I have the burgundy ones.
They're fab

roses321 · 02/11/2023 15:29

They're actually all I wear to be honest. Love them. :-)

LoserWinner · 02/11/2023 15:35

Brilliant, but no side pockets.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 02/11/2023 15:44

I’ve got high and low waisted jeggings. I’ve gone smarter now or just prefer nice leggings and as @LoserWinner says, no side pockets. I did like them though, just gone off them.

This is exactly what I’ve found! And probably why I fell out of love with them.

Itwasfinetillitwasnt · 02/11/2023 15:55

You might need to buy the extra short rather than petite (I'm 5ft1 and petite is to long).

lindyloo57 · 02/11/2023 16:29

I find the fit not good for me, I have slim hips but a wide waist, I have a pair in size 10 short which are too tight on the waist, so then I brought a 12 but they slip down all the time so not for me.

Daisymay2 · 02/11/2023 16:44

I’ve just bought a new pair in black to replace the first ones I ever bought 9 years ago. They developed a few holes in the seams about 6 months ago, been wearing them around the house but think they might have to go soon as they are getting baggy. I think I’m up to seven different colours. They work for me.

Lifeomars · 02/11/2023 17:44

I have several pairs, I am not the best shape for jeggings as I have fat thighs and fat knees, but I do have a small waist and a flat stomach so guess that compensates. What I love about them is that they are so easy to wear and to team up with lots of different tops and jumpers. What I have found with M and S is that the quality of their jeggings is not as good as it was. I have a few pairs from several years ago that are wearing better than the ones I bought recently
