Here
I ask because DD wears similar and she is 3 1/2

I think it's fine quite like it.

I probably wouldn't wear it (too short and curvy) but my colleague who is 50 I think and who is a very funky dresser would wear it with boots thick tights, dark jacket and tee. People tend to admire her style - she does not look like mutton dressed as lamb.

Hate ballet pumps though. To me they do look like should be worn by little girls/teens.

I think I possibly dress in a more edgier way since I split with H who was rather conventional in his outlook. In fact i have just been looking at old photos and saw one of me at my brothers wedding in a really frumpy Jaeger dress and hat. I was 34 going on 50!! Never wear a suit anymore either.

I tend to wear jeans (boyfriend or bootleg)/linen/crops mostly with longer cardigans/tunics or tee shirts and boots. Aim for an urban style. And sometimes knee length skirts with boots and a long sleeved T.

Occasionally wrap around dresses but I feel really quite frumpy in these.

Denim jacket, leather jacket, parka occasionally smart mac/coat.

Not so keen on he twee look. Mutton dressed as lamb to me is a more formal look. Designer clothes with heels and lots of slap.

Well Kylie's nearly 40 and I bet she could wear it.

Not me though. I'd look like I'd accidentally put dd's skirt on in the dark.

Depends on your figure/personality etc I guess.

I like it. I've got one the same shape in black/white tweedy stuff. I'm a mere spring chicken at 37. agree with the nice jumper, boots and thick tights or leggings (tis what i wear mine with)

Hmm, not sure. Agree that it may be teh denim that is causing me to waver - it looks cheap, it might make you look cheap. If it was knee-lenghth in denim I don't think it would look very nice, now I'm thinking about it. That style should be short, non? Dithering = a No. I think.
