Next best (cheaper) thing to Elemis please!

I got the Elemis cleansing balm as part of a beauty box and would LOVE to get the Elemis pro-collagen Marine moisturiser but the cheapest I’ve found it is £74 (Amazon).

It’s too much money for me.

Are there any similar moisturisers out there but much more budget-friendly?

I’m 54 with combination skin.

I'm 50 with combination skin that can also be sensitive. I used to get Elemis Marine cream. I now use Aldi Caviar Day cream. £7.99. It has never cause me any sensitivity or break outs. It could be a bit bit rich in the summer months so last summer I got the Aldi glow recipe watermelon mosturiser dupe and that was lovely as well.

LadyLapsang Yes this is where I discovered it!

Where did you get it please? I can’t find anything online

I use the CeraVe range from Boots. They do the cleanser, moisturiser lotion, moisturiser cream, and eyecream.

It's a good, very reasonable skincare whether you need a gentle product or not.

It was recommended to me as gentle skin care as I use a tretnoin beauty prescription base product. It's available to anyone. Not from your Dr's.

It's called prescription base as it's tailored to your skin.

Oh, and don't forget suncream as your last product whether you use Tretnoin or not. It is very important.

For anyone interested in the tretnoin, use this link below where you get your first at a very low start price. I also get a referral credit too.

They send you a tube per month, but you can alter the date of delivery on them, which I do twice a year minimum as it lasts far longer than you think.

I probably use about 8 tubes a year

I got it from the QVC website.

Sorry I meant the Boots collection

Think you mean the Beauty Awards box?
I got it from the Boots website. It was out of stock for a while then back in, then out of stock again very quickly!

I also mostly buy from QVC but also worth checking out eBay. I’m not really interested in the shower cream/body moisturisers so previously have sold these on eBay if I’ve bought one of the sets from QVC. Others undoubtedly do this too and make money from breaking down the sets so there are always cleansing balm and marine creams in auction.
