i can vouch for the fact that batters looks marvellous in her coat and i haven't seen many of them about.

fishie · 08/03/2008 16:25

i have not seen that anywhere in london. it must be a provincial fashion.

(actually they are rather nice but wouldn't suit me so i am just being jealous)

bossykate · 08/03/2008 16:26

haha! when i looked at the link i saw they had some blue ones left... i was soo tempted but thought it would be a bit weird and creepy

PeachesMcLean · 08/03/2008 16:26

I soooo nearly bought one. Haven't seen another one here though.

Ineedacleaner · 08/03/2008 16:30

Oooh I like that but there are none in my size

Here in a very "Essex" part of Essex, I can honestly say that I have never ever seen a Boden coat. Never knowingly seen anything from Boden, except one order I misguidely made myself and returned

Any one of their prints would be absolutely unique around here.

at "it must be a provincial fashion"

Could I have two ' backs'? I like the back, not the front

MrsJohnCusack · 08/03/2008 19:10

i have an M&S velvet coat from about 6 years ago
it is fab, it still looks nearly new, it's waterproof AND it doesn't have a seam in a weirdy place that gives one a matronly bozoom
it kicks the arse of the Boden one

MrsJohnCusack · 08/03/2008 19:12

that's not really much use to the rest of you though is it...

CristinaTheAstonishing · 08/03/2008 19:14

You think not. But that reference to the Boden coat giving you a matronly bosom where none exists made me check out the link twice.

MrsJohnCusack · 08/03/2008 19:17

there was a previous thread about this coat where much reference was made to the seam and how unflattering it was

DualCycloneCod · 08/03/2008 19:25

yes the back is odd

OP posts:
DarthVader · 08/03/2008 19:38

so is the front

DarthVader · 08/03/2008 19:38

I sent mine straight back

It was comical in its unflatteringness

nailpolish · 08/03/2008 19:40

i like it but i know it would look shit and untidy on me

allgonebellyup · 08/03/2008 19:40

all i can say is..Jarvis

DarthVader · 08/03/2008 19:43
