I got the cord trench in teal (sim to 2006 velvet one but in .. cord) and it's been fabuloso.

Not seen another one. Flattering, comfortable etc. Colour goes well with clashing scarf which is my look. Much better detailing, contrast double stitching, contrast buttons, cuffs etc.Etc ETc.

I saw 3 of the velvet ones in Chiswick last time I was there. They're supposed to look 'kooky' but they just look shite.

Actually that is the problem with so much Boden stuff, isn't it? It's 'kooky' for the relentlessly middle-of-the-road.
