Is there a male equivalent to a comfy house cardigan.

I love a cardigan to wear round the house when it's chilli, I have several that just cover the bum, no buttons and just enough fabric to wrap round when sat watching telly, not overly chunky but easy to take off when cooking etc. I was thinking that my DH could do with something similar.

Mine has a longish zip up hoody for this.

He's not really a hoody sort of guy.

Zip front fleece for my DH, he has a couple of weights. Best of all they have a stand up collar to keep the neck warm and pockets.

My husband has a selection of hoodies and a fleecy poncho. An actual cardigan would work fine though.

I'm sure I've seen articles about quarter-length zip jumpers being a 'thing' for men at the moment? Maybe he needs one of those. Or a gilet.

Yes a fluffy dressing gown. 🤗 A man would never buy one himself, but would never take it off at home if bought for them.

Some nice options suggested but I can't see any that are long enough to cover bum/hips like ladies ones do, maybe it would look odd

Please don't encourage this! My dh has the cardigan of doom and its shocking. He's now wearing it to piss me off I'm sure.

Husband has just bought an alpaca poncho a la Clint Eastwood for house wear. It’s a bit of an acquired taste but he says it’s supper warm and light and not scratchy.

dh has a sports jacket.
he looks like the divers in 'life aquatic' in it.
