my mate told me they are doign stealth sales unnanounced and its done by viral marketing
anyone knwo abotu these?

There is one on Norwich but it is earlier in the year - May I think - they just emailed me all of the dates - one in Tunbridge too in October I think.

this is viral marketing. virtually free and you are more liekly to respond because its word of mouth. very clever stuff.

We get the massive sports centre type sales near me, I get a card in the post a week or so before but I am on their general mailing list anyway (20 catalogues a season!!) I have never seen so many middle class middle age ladies in one place!! It was irritating though as many people were scooping up armfuls of stuff indiscriminately probably to sell on ebay so when us mortals got to the tables there wasn't much left - not worth the queuing in my opinion!
