Was great though, very jumble sale like. Lots of one off's that were made but did not go in to production. I have one I spent about £300 that day and got tons.

Went for tea and cake after in the grounds with all my purchases. Take no children!!

I went to a town hall sale last year. It was terrifying. Worse than the NCT nearly new sale.

I went to one in dodgy area in Nottingham ages ago. It was huge boxes piled high with a real mixture of kids/womens/mens/shoes/different sizes/different seasons it was excellent fun, huge discounts, and we're still wearing some of the stuff! Weirdly, I have also seen stuff with Boden labels on the markets here in France, how that works I've no idea.

I've had enough stuff from the town hall sales to fill 2 wardrobes. My best buys were funky duffles in each of last year's colours for £10 each .

Another good one is the mini boden birkie sandals - I've got enough of those to last dd till she's 16 (she's 3) - £3 a pair!

Why are they so far away from me - I feel a cheap day return to Kettering coming on - may get a group of like minded ladies together for a day out.

Can't believe they didn;t invite me to the one in Braintree is feckin 20 minutes away!

I spent hundreds in there FGS - paying full price probably thought better I don;t know about the sales!

huzzah - it only took a whole afternoon.
