The holy grail: invisible trainer socks that stay put

Is there any such thing? Tried several brands now and no joy. I spend the majority of the day looking like a weirdo fishing them out with my fingers and feeling super uncomfortable. I like wearing dresses and trainers/ canvas shoes and socks showing over the top looks rubbish but I can't seem to find a pair that will stay up. Any recommendations?

H&M sell some that have little rubber grips on the heels, I find they do stay put. I have size 3 feet so I get the small ones which also helps!

The John Lewis anyday ones stay put for me.

Primark has some with a rubber strip at the back that means they stay put 🙂

Skechers invisible ones with the anti bacterial protection are good. These are the only ones that stay out for me.

Primark mesh trainer socks. I am an addict 😬

M&s do some 'good move' ones which don't slip. Again they've got the silicon pad on the heel and don't budge at all.

Primark gym liners. Look like thick tight material. Dirt cheap. Come in loads of colours.

I found the sets at Sainsburys worked well... did not get on so well with the Primani socks.

Do not buy Tesco ones. Even though they have silicon bits on the back, they are so low cut that they just slip under your foot.

@joanthursday are the good move ones trainer socks or the invisible liners? Just on the website now and there are a few but all the invisible ones seem not to be good move ones....

I have stupidly pointed feet that are made for picking winkles, and these stay hole-free for months. They're cushioned too: some trainer liners are quite thin.

I've tried many and I mean lots! Primark ones with the grip!

Ones with the zig zaggy silicone bits are my favourites. Have had from new look and primark. The new look ones are a little lower on the top of the foot but both fine with standard trainers.

I once had an awesome pair that stayed put. I got them in Fenwick on bond street and they were ridiculously expensive. unhelpfully I can't remember the brand name but it was probably something like Wolford or Falke or that type of brand. Looks overpriced but the quality was great. I wish I could remember.
