Help me find my perfect black loafers!

Been on the lookout for several years. Everything tends to be too low at the front or too chunky or too flimsy/hard so they aren't truly comfortable. Dream pair would be prada but that's not happening so can anyone point me in the direction of something along the lines of this?
Higher front, detail that is not too chunky, mid weight, not too delicate not too heavy. Black leather in a hi shine, not patent or flat leather, sheeny not shiny. Comfortable and timeless!

GH Bass have lots of styles of loafer. I prefer the easy weejuns as I don’t like leather soles. They are very well made and comfy

I couldn't cope with backless ones! These are autumn winter wear!

I have dr martens Adrian's, they are comfy but I'm not sure if I would like something a touch more refined iyswim, a little bit less chunky. Maybe I'll try them on again, see how they feel. They are pretty classic really. I was looking at some barbour loafers. Are their shoes good quality?

I have the Adrian’s in Oxblood and love them.

Pentons are similar but without the tassel or fringe. Probably chunkier than you want, but I think they’re classic.

Tell me I'm mad to add some burgundy Adrian's to my shoes (I own black but love oxblood for autumn and winter). Such a nice colour. Not quite brown but different to the black.

Uniqlo's look nice. I haven't bought shoes from them though, so I don't know how well they wear.

Am caught between the burgundy dm Adrian and the barbour ones above. I think the barbour ones are just about right, nice circular detail, not too heavy or too delicate, very smart looking. However, I've never owned barbour shoes (or anything else for that matter) and at £120 I need to know they will last a very long time and age well. Does anyone have barbour shoes?

What size shoes are you? I bought some Loake mens loafers (size 6) a few years ago and they’re perfect!

Oh those marks/Sienna Miller ones are nice, not to mention half the price! I'm just not 100% on the gathering around the seam on the top? I think it depends how obvious it is. I like the slightly different gold detail and the way the front comes up higher on your foot. Some loafers end up wearing like ballet pumps and that's not what I'm looking for.
