Help me find this style- mismatched boho 1910s-1930s

I'd love some suggestions for where to shop for this look that won't look like fancy dress but rather a contemporary take on a period look.

The year is 1911, or possibly 1926, or 1933. You're a bored 17yo girl living in a once grand but now slightly faded country house (overgrown tennis court etc). Your brother is home from boarding school and you've put his cricket jumper on over your dress because it's cold, or possibly his giant rugby socks.

It's a slightly less glam Atonement, Life After Life (early scenes), Linda Radlett before she leaves Alconleigh.

Where can I find this stuff? Cabbages & Roses, some stuff from Toast, anywhere that does good tweed?

I'm picturing Helena Bonham Carter, is that the look you mean?

Perhaps equestrian/ Country brands will have pieces and lots of prowled and vintage. I don't think that look can be bought, it evolves.

Hush Puppies do a style of footwear that looks like it's from the early 20th century.

This thread has made me disappear into a dream world of I Capture The Castle and Brideshead Revisited. In my head I'm wafting around an closed up country house between the wars on a still spring evening with dust motes in the air.

I buy clothes that fit this description from flea and brocante markets. I've been wearing 1920s style underwear for 40 years. Not the same pair I hasten to add.

I go for more of a tomboy vibe personally and you can do that pretty well here.
Just chuck on some high waisted, wide legged trousers, brogues and either a blouse or a tucked knitted jumper and you're done!
