I am deciding whether to get this dress from Sezane and would love to know your opinion on it?

Yay. It’s lovely.

Chocbuttonsandredwine · 03/08/2023 17:40

It’s ok: could look cool… could look Amish.

Expensive for what it is.

HundredMilesAnHour · 03/08/2023 17:47

Not a fan, sorry. Hate the style, hate the colour (or is their lighting just really dreadful?!!). You'd have to pay me the £165 to wear it (and I'd still be unhappy with it).

LivingitLarge · 03/08/2023 17:48

I prefer it in the blue.

Riverlee · 03/08/2023 17:52

Lovely dress, but I wouldn’t pay £165 for it. Like it in both blue and brown.

SleepingStandingUp · 03/08/2023 17:55

Nice, but looks like something I'd buy off the High Street so I'd want to see it on the flesh to make sure it looks as expensive as it is

zurala · 03/08/2023 17:55

I don't like it. The print is ugly and it looks shapeless. And the price!!!

pictoosh · 03/08/2023 17:57

Nay for that price. It's not beautiful enough to justify the spend imo. Maybe you're better off than me and can lose £165 to an okay dress.

continentallentil · 03/08/2023 17:57

Yes I like it - you’d need the front tie for structure unless you’re just wafting around on holiday

MillWood85 · 03/08/2023 17:58

That would make me think vintage clothing store rather than £165 new....

ShanghaiDiva · 03/08/2023 17:59

Shapeless and expensive. Pattern is a bit Holly Hobbie.

DarkModeDear · 03/08/2023 18:03

No. It does look very high street, Peacocks or something, It doesn’t even look nice on KH and she is stunning.

Yay or Nay to this dress?
Persiana · 03/08/2023 18:06

Yes if blue and with the belt. Otherwise it looks a bit like a sack

PickAChew · 03/08/2023 18:10

It's lovely. OK, so it's a ubiquitous style but it's also (apparently) not made in a sweatshop so should cost a bit more.

MintJulia · 03/08/2023 18:15

It's ok, if a bit shapeless.

There are much lovelier dresses around for that money.

ACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 03/08/2023 18:17

It’s more Joe Browns than Sezane. I would keep looking.

MysteryBelle · 03/08/2023 18:18

Nay. I tried to find one element I liked but couldn’t. Hideous print/colors, and shapeless tent. WHY?

JofraArchersFastestBall · 03/08/2023 18:18

Would you like it if it was from M&S and not Sezanne?

FayCarew · 03/08/2023 18:33

Nay. It looks ok but it's a choice of viscose or poly-cotton. Looks ordinary for the price.

PickAChew · 03/08/2023 18:34

It's cotton.

wondabar · 03/08/2023 18:35

I've made my decision and it is Nay - the Hollie Hobbie comment helped make that decision for me Grin I had some vouchers and am having difficulty finding what to buy with them.

NatashaDancing · 03/08/2023 18:37

I like the dress.

I hate the way Sezanne style their clothes - everything has to be pouty and sexy.

GarlicGrace · 03/08/2023 18:38

Are you tall & willowy with a moderate bust? - Yes. You could make anything look nice!

Will it be floor-length on you, or will the dress hang off your magnificent chest like a sail in want of a breeze? - Hell, no. If you want a comfy dress buy a £25 one, it'll look the same.

FayCarew · 03/08/2023 18:39

Ah. yes. I was looking at the details of the blue one.

MysteryBelle · 03/08/2023 18:46

The Holly Hobbie comment was right on the money 😂
