Where do you buy your bras from?

I am looking for somewhere to buy durable, nice quality bras. Pre-children I used to buy from bravissimo, but now I'm much smaller and find they don't fit as well. Any suggestions?

Brastop

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 02/08/2023 21:30

John Lewis

TheGriffle · 02/08/2023 21:34

Also Brastop.

Mumof1andacat · 02/08/2023 21:46

Simply be - variety of makes

secular39 · 02/08/2023 22:11

Victoria Secret- and their outlet PINK. I m have had the same Victoria secret bra for many years and it's still in good condition.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 02/08/2023 22:25

Primark for me and my tiny boobs.

Changingplace · 02/08/2023 22:27

Curvy Kate, they offer an online fitting service and it’s brilliant.

Primark for me and my tiny boobs.

And for me with my average ones. They are fantastic.

FlamingYam · 02/08/2023 22:40

The bras are fantastic I mean... obviously. 😂 My boobs have seen better days. Average on the eye and in size.

Justonedayatatime11 · 02/08/2023 22:43

Victorias Secret. Their non wired push up bras are a (comfortable!) revelation!

AgathaAllAlong · 03/08/2023 07:48

Fantastic, thank you everyone! Evening of online shopping here I come.

Another vote for Uniqlo! There wireless bra's are fantastic. I mainly go there to buy bra's as Victoria's Secret is expensive.

delilabell · 03/08/2023 07:53

I buy mine from marks and Spencers. Did my own measuring as didn't trust them. I have big boobs but wear their bralettes (non underwired as hate underwires now )

MrsMoastyToasty · 03/08/2023 07:54

An independent retailer near Bristol.

ElizaWinter · 03/08/2023 08:07

I recently tried an M&S non underwire bra but found it didn't hold my medium sized boobs very well.

I'm in my fifties so that might be why but I need to try other brands as I'm keen to move away from underwires if possible.

Shoesshoesandmore · 03/08/2023 08:35

Triumph have some really good bras (not the Doreen type!) I find they wash well and last and I am the same size across all styles, which I find changes with other brands.

MavisChunch29 · 03/08/2023 08:37

TU at Sainsbury's. Comfort lace usually, very reliable sizing and wash well and cost about £10.

StarlightLady · 03/08/2023 10:21

Usually John Lewis or Bravissimo. Occasionally M&S and once in a while on eBay. I'm a 36F and refuse to wear white (reminds me of school!) or so called "nude" (the latter makes my tits look like cardboard!), therefore choice can be somewhat limited, but better than it was, so when I see a colour I like, I pounce while the iron's hot.

GettingStuffed · 03/08/2023 16:15

I've dropped from a 38hh to a 38G so did an emergency bra runt to Tesco, they're quite comfortable and well made

GettingStuffed · 03/08/2023 16:15

Run not runt

Walkingintheminefield · 03/08/2023 16:28

I think it depends on your sizes ie cup size and body size. I am generally a 34E or 34F (depending on how fat I am the cup size goes up and down) and have mostly worn underwired bras as I prefer the support they give. I have found Marks and Spencers good for reasonable price every day bras and more recently they have a better range of colourful attractive bras. If you want to pay more for attractive, pretty bras with bows and ribbons there are many out there but some can be very pricey. I like to try before I buy as cut and shape can vary enormously even for the same brand. Hope this helps

Horsedoglover59 · 03/08/2023 16:34

M&S usually - the everyday type ones, but I'd like to splurge one day and go to Rigby and Peller, my friend went there and came back with two beautiful but quite expensive bras, but they have lasted well and still look nice.

Mrstwiddle · 03/08/2023 16:49

Another vote for Triumph (via John Lewis) I got a lovely one recently and it's the most comfortable bra I've ever had:

JL also did a fitting putting me in a size I've not worn before but which fits perfectly.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 03/08/2023 17:33

Tu at sainsburys fit me well
I'm only 34b though
