Where do you buy your bras from?

I am looking for somewhere to buy durable, nice quality bras. Pre-children I used to buy from bravissimo, but now I'm much smaller and find they don't fit as well. Any suggestions?

Great thanks everyone - interested to see supermarket ones in there too, will try. I really don't know what size I am now. I have bras in 28F, 32DD and 30E which all kind of fit, but none of them that well. I can't work out if it's brand sizing differences or I just haven't found my right size yet.

John Lewis now. Had always used M&S through laziness but last few have been awful quality or could never find ones I liked in my size. Tried JL and ended up with an own brand and a Triumph one. I made a note of the names so I can just buy the same again as was so pleased with them.

I've just placed my third order in a week with lemonade dolls. They do bralette style bras without underwire and finding them SO comfortable and supportive.

Primark bras are a revelation to me. I’ve always bought M&S, John Lewis, Triumph amourette. All uncomfortable. I can wear my Primark ones all day and the shape is much better for me. Not huge but not small either.

Tkmaxx or Next

I'm tall and fairly broad backed and not that big 36b and find M&S fit me well, you sound a completely different size to me though so M&S may not be very good

When you find a bra that suits, it's bound to be discontinued. Sod's law. So go out and by 100 in lots of different colours. 😀

I've found John Lewis AnyDay brand good. I like the non-wired padded, plunge T shirt bras. White, nude and black.

Some of M&S Rosie are nice too. But quite pricey. and their back sizes are very small. I'm a 30-32 back and need a 34 in those.

Primark for me as well...
Comfortable and exceptional value.

M&S

ThomasHardyPerennial · 04/08/2023 20:44

M&S for me too. I fit myself, and am happy with them.

Rigby and Pellar every time. They cost a lot but fit perfectly and last ages if looked after. I've never looked back since visiting them 20 years ago.

Another vote for Simply Be for bras (and bikinis). I get free next day delivery and have an account, which means I can buy several sizes to try without having to pay upfront and then wait for a refund. I just pay for what I keep and send the others back (free returns)

Massive choice of brands and sizes.
