Best lipliner and lipsticks

I'm looking for some lovely lip products to treat myself to, and hoping for some recommendations. They need to be long lasting and go on smoothly. Non drying and feel comfortable.
Happy to pay a bit more for products that are worth the money, but love a bargain too.

I hate this thread......just spent £30 on a Lisa Eldridge velvet blush lightly lipstick.......I will report back!

Now if I could just find a decent foundation for combination sweaty post menopausal skin......

I bloody love MAC Mehr and on my lips it looks exactly like on that picture! I have a mini in my bag right now. Beautiful lipstick, long-lasting and very very comfortable to wear.

starlightexpress - how did you get on with the blush lipstick? It appealed to me when i looked online too.

Have bought the Mac lipliner in Soar, which looked lovely on when i tried. I also loved the look and feel of Captive which is a cream lipstick but haven't bought that one yet. First time I've bought anything from Mac, and I think I may be a convert!

What mac shade would look like the mehr in the pic on fair skin? That pinky tone?
