Sadly can't afford the likes of Molton Brown & White Company any more. Had been using radox but it seems to be half water with very little lather any more.

Those treacle moon products are a lot cheaper than I had expected

Floofydawg · 19/07/2023 22:06

Just done a massive Treacle Moon order, should keep me going for a good while!

Nivea. On everyday low price in Boots, so you don't have to second guess when there will be a promo. £1.20 a bottle.

Really I just checked online and they are pretty expensive £3 for one

Kim82 · 19/07/2023 22:28

Another vote for Original Source. They were recently on offer in Tesco for 95p so we’ve stocked up. Dh likes the mint and tea tree, I like the rhubarb and raspberry (as do my 3 dds).

@Floofydawg Im really confused you wanted budget friendly shower gels but chose to order online at treaclemoon which is like 2/3quid a bottle 🤔

Aldi's Kick Start is really good - and only 55p! Currently using the coconut & lychee one, but also have the mango one too. (It's basically a dupe of Original Source)

I move the coconut one. Bargain!

It's budget vs Molton Brown & White Company. Plus the £3 bottles are huge! Just wanted something nice at a cheapish price point. Loads of people recommended Treacle Moon.

The huge ones are 500ml for 3quid a bottle on treaclemoon you can get one for less than one quid and are 500ml also.🤷🏽‍♀️

Never thought I'd have to justify my shopping choices on S&B 🙄

Lidl have huge pouches of soap refill and honestly it’s lovely (I also use it to refill all my hand dispensers and a bottle for the shower)

AssertiveGertrude · 20/07/2023 08:30

Milk and honey is one of them

Don't really want soap, it's too messy.

Its actually not. I use a Body shop facial soap and a, Loccitane Body soap. I store them in little soap storage bags that i bought with them. I just use them during shower then return them to the bags and hang on a hook on the door. No mess and lovely to use.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 20/07/2023 08:42

Pears and sanex are nice, orignal sourse is horrible, thin and doesn't lather, shocked at all the love for it.

It's because you asked people on here for budget friendly shower gels but then ordered showered gels that were like £3 pounds a bottle 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️

Depends on your budget. To me treacle moon are a cheap, budget brand 🤷🏻‍♀️

To be fair she wanted to downgrade from white company. £3 is a pretty big downgrade from that

3 whole pounds 😄

Mrsjayy · 20/07/2023 08:52

3 whole pounds 😄

To me that's expensive for a shower gel, so no need to be snotty about it 🙂

Floofydawg · 20/07/2023 08:59

Yep, £20+ for Molton Brown/White Co to £3 is a massive downgrade for me. Just want something a bit luxurious that doesn't cost the earth. £3 isn't a lot to spend.

The waitrose ones are nice (the ones I like are around the same price point as the treacle moon ones) - the oud and oakmoss is lovely. Also DH doesn't like it so it lasts awhile ;)

RatouilleAndFeta · 20/07/2023 20:22

Don't use shower gel because of trying to reduce my plastic use. Since we are in the middle a climate catastrophe and all....

I bought cheap as chips bamboo soap dishes and buy fine milled french market soaps. Gorgeous!

Tk max do wonderful soaps that last for AGES!
