Can someone tell me what I've bought?

I bought this 'bodysuit' in the CK sale which is described as underwear: www.calvinklein.co.uk/bodysuit-modern-performance-000qf6928eub1

It arrived today and I love it. Super flattering and comfy. Except it doesn't have a snap fastening at the base as per descriptio). It also says it's chlorine resistant. Have I just bought a swimming suit? I'm confused 😂

It says in the description that it’s underwear.

It is misdescribed, it says in the details it has snap fastenings at the base. It can be returned.

If you read down, it says it's chlorine resistant, so I actually think that it might be swimwear.

It certainly looks like swimwear - very unusual shape for underwear. I wonder if they've got their descriptions mixed up?

As it says quick drying and chlorine resistant, I think you've got a very nice swimming costume. Looking at the shape of it, I'd think its definitely a swimsuit, and someone has put underwear as an error. Hope you need a new swimsuit!

CK have responded to my email exceptionally quickly to say that it is underwear, and that the chlorine resistance is an added feature. Bit odd though, I can't think why underwear would need that!
I think I'll live with the lack of snap fastening, it's a really nice bodysuit.

@thentheycameforme it's great isn't it!

It looks like a swimsuit.

No matter what you wear it under you'll have to take everything off to go to the loo.

It looks like a swim suit to me as well.

Chlorine resistant, fast drying and a high % of lycra are all typical of swimwear.

Weird isn't it. Maybe product testing failed at some point in the development process so they thought ahh sod it, let's call it underwear 🤷‍♀️

It's worse than a jumpsuit because you will have to take it off as well.

Being an ex-competitive swimmer, I always just move the gusset to the side to go to the toilet, how is this not a 'thing'? I've taught my daughter to do the same, nothing worse than trying to trail back on a cold wet swimsuit up over your body.

That might work if you are urinating. Bit unrealistic for a bowel movement or even emptying a mooncup.

Agree, I think it has been misdescribed somewhere along the line and whoever you spoke to has gone by what it says on the website. Chlorine resistance only applies to things you wear in the pool. It is probably dual purpose swim and sports wear.
