Why can I not find a dress like this?

Please help me, I have searched many shops and the entire internet it would seem. I thought I was looking for something very simple, but it would seem not, so please can you all find it for me?

Casual summer dress, jersey/t-shirt material, midi length, it at least over the knee, empire line/tiered, must have a 'proper top' not sleeveless, minimum would be a cap sleeve, happy with round or v neck. I bought this from M&S the other day and it is absolutely perfect but I'm not very keen on the other 2 colours. I definitely don't want above the knee or maxi, nor do I want cotton or linen. I'm looking for something as comfortable as a nightie and hides a multitude of sins.

I'm early 40's and a good size 14 if that helps. Thanks!!

I have this on today and it’s really flattering. It’s a thick tshirt material, nice length on the leg. I’m also a 14 and I feel really lovely in it (not something I’d usually say!)

Asda have these. I bought one at the weekend, as the material is gorgeous and feels so light. Unfortunately it looks bloody awful on me (though I am a size 20!). I'm going to keep it as a ridiculously hot day dress to slouch in the house in in summer though as it feels dreamy, even if it doesn't look it on me!

I have this and it is a dream dress. So comfortable and flattering and can be dressed up or down. It says wrap but it isn't. It's empire line, it's just the v neck that slightly wraps.

I just bought this dress from Vinted. It's Monsoon. It fits every one of your criteria and was £4, £7.20 with postage etc.

This thread is brilliant for those who have to stay overnight in hospital with their children for long periods of time. Or have to be in hospital themselves.
I have discovered the best strategy is to wear something you can sleep in comfortably as there’s no guarantee a nightie/pyjamas can be changed out of by a certain time when parents are sharing a shower etc. and you are seeing medics at all times. It’s easier just to change once in 24hours and have a simple longer dress to cover modesty.

If you can find it on Vinted or any outlet stores/sites (ebay have a Crew Clothing Company Shop), the Ryde dress is fab. 100% jersey cotton, looks really smart, feels so comfortable, washes really well, if you're on the larger nork size (I'm 34FF) the buttons actually do up and it comes in a few colours. I've got it in teal and red and get compliments everytime I wear them
