A big fab Greek wedding - what to wear?!

My brother is getting married on Santorini this year, and I want something lovely to wear.

I've scoured the internet and I'm hoping you might have some stones I have yet to turn! Any brands I won't have thought of?

Here's a bit of a brief:

I'm a curvy size 10, and don't want to be too corseted / restricted as I'm not great in the heat and will be dancing with my kids, no doubt, so nothing super tight or structured.

Happy with a dress or a two piece, probably not a jumpsuit. I've seen some lovely silk floaty patterned trousers that I might try on at some point.

I like halter necks. I definitely have to be able to wear a bra, strapless is fine.

I'd like a nipped in waist. Don't mind about the length of sleeve style.

I don't like uneven hemlines, and I'll avoid white or full black.

I'd basically love to feel like I'm in Mama Mia 😂...a bit dreamy, a bit sexy, a bit like a dolce and gabbana ad from the late 90s... 😜

The best options I've seen so far are Reiss, Kitri, and I'm checking Anthropologie weekly.... No specific budget exactly, maybe under £300?

And yes I've looked at rental but nothing has struck me there yet either.

Be so so grateful for any suggestions anyone has! TIA ❤️

OMG, the Gretal one from Phase8 is just stunning. Very Greek style too. Win for me. I'm off to buy it now for a wedding in July. wedding is here.... don't care if it's not hot and sunny I want it!

I went to a Greek wedding in the summer and it was beautiful although absolutely boiling (around 40c that day).

I would say floaty natural fibres are best. I would steer clear of silk or anything fussy personally in case it is very warm.

Maybe something like this, which can be dressed up or down.

Farm Rio also have lovely cotton prints.

That's lovely @McP13, very swishy and such a gorgeous colour, Matalan are really good at the moment, I've just bought a cheesecloth Co-ord from there, the shorts are just like the NRBY ones.

There are two shops called Pink and Bow in Ashby de La Zouch which are selling some lovely flowy silk trousers. Saw a lady wearing similar ones last week, she looked fab. They have a Facebook Page and put videos on there. I don’t know if they post though…

This is a British wedding in a hotel, it’s not a big fat Greek wedding ( Greek weddings are amazing - I am Greek and they are wow )
therefore where what you like.. If the weather is going to be warm, keep it flowy and simple

🙄

Absolutely love the Me & Em dresses, especially the cobalt tiered one
