A big fab Greek wedding - what to wear?!

My brother is getting married on Santorini this year, and I want something lovely to wear.

I've scoured the internet and I'm hoping you might have some stones I have yet to turn! Any brands I won't have thought of?

Here's a bit of a brief:

I'm a curvy size 10, and don't want to be too corseted / restricted as I'm not great in the heat and will be dancing with my kids, no doubt, so nothing super tight or structured.

Happy with a dress or a two piece, probably not a jumpsuit. I've seen some lovely silk floaty patterned trousers that I might try on at some point.

I like halter necks. I definitely have to be able to wear a bra, strapless is fine.

I'd like a nipped in waist. Don't mind about the length of sleeve style.

I don't like uneven hemlines, and I'll avoid white or full black.

I'd basically love to feel like I'm in Mama Mia 😂...a bit dreamy, a bit sexy, a bit like a dolce and gabbana ad from the late 90s... 😜

The best options I've seen so far are Reiss, Kitri, and I'm checking Anthropologie weekly.... No specific budget exactly, maybe under £300?

And yes I've looked at rental but nothing has struck me there yet either.

I’m not so great at finding wedding outfits, but just wondering if your brother is marrying into a Greek family? If so, from experience at a few Greek weddings, they are much more glam than the UK weddings I’ve been to, and it’s not unusual for guests to wear black/dark colours. However, if it’s just an overseas wedding for a UK couple this probably doesn’t apply!

Thanks, yes actually the first one I ordered was from there, but it wasn't quite right so sent it back. It was a lovely blue and white maxi with cut outs.

There are hundreds of dresses on Silk Fred, I found some I'd love but then realised the hem dipped down at the back so don't fit your brief. I think this one might though.

Yes. Strapless! Very airy.

I've bought this one recently and I can't wait to wear it. Zips up at the back and fitted in the middle, floats beautifully. Model in picture is quite tall. I'm 5ft4 and it sits really nicely in a midi length on me.

Love that Sainsbury's one @Dogman and the blue/white stripes around the hem is very Greek islands.

You could get a dress maker to add padded cups in to the 'triangles'

This is a British wedding in a hotel, it’s not a big fat Greek wedding ( Greek weddings are amazing - I am Greek and they are wow )
therefore where what you like.. If the weather is going to be warm, keep it flowy and simple
