I need a quick to apply, quick to absorb, not too smelly moisturiser.

Are sprays any good? In shower ones?

My legs are scaly but all good intentions don't last...

Please suggest away...

No advice but following to hear what others have to say.

I'm trying out Aveeno's spray-on body oil at the moment. It's an effective moisturiser, but yeah, rather oily...

Kickingupmerrybehaviour · 25/04/2023 22:56

Following as I’ve got the same issue

eloquent · 25/04/2023 22:56

My ultimate lazy moisturiser is oil in the bath.
I mix apricol and almond oils.

LauderSyme · 25/04/2023 22:57

Sanctuary Spa body oil spray is great, ticks the boxes for quick to apply and absorb but is quite highly fragranced. Spray baby oil is good too. Aveeno body lotion absorbs fast and has a light scent.

I love Jergens Weightless Wet Skin lotion.
You put it on as soon as you get out of the shower, straight on to wet/damp skin. It made the world of difference to my legs and will repurchase forever 🥰

SophiaSW1 · 26/04/2023 09:29

I have a sanctuary one that you just put on whilst in the shower. It's fantastic.

I use thé Aveeno mist - it’s a really light spray with no real scent. Takes less than a minute to spray on and rub in after a shower.

It’s quite expensive on its own but you can usually find it on offer so I just stock up then

Thank you. Just looked and it's on offer on Amazon if you need some

Thank you. How strong is the coconut scent?

The coconut scented one is quite strong, but I use the argan oil one, and it’s very subtle.

I’ve previously tried the Shea butter scent too, and that was lovely.

YellowFleece · 26/04/2023 10:04

Body Shop Body Yoghurt is the best - I think they advertise it that you can put your jeans straight on afterwards. It absorbs really quickly. I like the almond one.

trickyfriendsone · 26/04/2023 10:08

My skin is so dry. I swear by exfoliating gloves in the shower to slough of the flaky skin. Then use a good moisturisers.

Sanctuary spa wet skin moisturiser. Put it on wet skin after your shower and then get dried. Doesn't leave you feeling all slimy and sticky.

Nivea repair and care moisturiser. Skins in almost immediately and doesn't leave a sticky/damp feeling.

DeoForty · 26/04/2023 10:11

Another for the Sanctuary in-shower one. I thought it was likely to be a gimmick but it's really good and moisturising.

fruitpastille · 26/04/2023 10:13

I use cerave lotion at the moment. It's moisturising but quite light. I find having a pump action bottle makes me more likely to use it as I don't even need to pick it up and take the lid off.

PerryMenno · 26/04/2023 10:14

I'm so lazy I oil up while still in the shower! Either Palmers or Neutrogena.

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/04/2023 10:44

I'm lazy rather than busy but do moisturiser after a shower or I'd be in a right state. My skin's very dry.

My go to for years has been the Garnier intensive 7 days one - in the shea butter formation (tried them all and this is the best). Very lightweight and absorbs quickly, I don't find it feels sticky and it really does the job.

I don't think I've ever paid more than £3 for a large bottle of it. It's always on offer somewhere and you can get it anywhere. Boots/superdrug/b&m/savers/any supermarket/amazon.

maddy68 · 26/04/2023 14:05

Nívea is definitely the best. (I think it's called light ? ). Reply effective but absorbs well

LordEmsworth · 26/04/2023 15:57

Sanctuary Wet Skin, or Kiehl's in shower oil, both take seconds and work

morelippy · 26/04/2023 16:08

Well that was a wasted shopping trip.. couldn't find any Jergens which was first choice, no Sanctuary Spa and no inshower ones of any sort!

Need a bigger Boots.

Could a moisturising shower gel/oil work? I really like this -

Bioderma Atoderm shower oil

OkayBozo · 26/04/2023 18:55

The garnier body good ones are fab

OkayBozo · 26/04/2023 18:55

Body food, sorry

Cleethorpes · 26/04/2023 19:11

Cerave. Wonderful stuff, recommended by my dermatologist.

declutteringmymind · 26/04/2023 19:19

I use l'occitane amande shower oil. It's lovely.
