I need a quick to apply, quick to absorb, not too smelly moisturiser.

Are sprays any good? In shower ones?

My legs are scaly but all good intentions don't last...

Please suggest away...

It's just getting used to to it. I apply body lotion every day and it takes about 1 minute. Similar to applying shower gel. Think i am quite quick because I do do it every day.

Rummikub · 26/04/2023 23:29

to Those who use an in shower one doesn’t it make the shower/ bath slippy?

I used to use the baby oil spray until I had one too many scary slips in the bath!

Banshee9 · 26/04/2023 23:29

I love the Vaseline Intensive Carr Essential Healing body lotion. Yellow bottle. It's got a scent but not strong and I like it. Not too thick and sinks in quickly.

I have a sanctuary one that you just put on whilst in the shower. It's fantastic.

I came on today this. It is amazing stuff, but I wouldn't use it for too many showers in a row and use a more moisturising product (unless that's just my skin). I need to look up the Jergens one recommended upthread though

HappiDaze · 26/04/2023 23:46

Nivea express hydration, it leaves my skin silky smooth and dries quickly

HappiDaze · 26/04/2023 23:47

It absorbs quickly

Well that was a wasted shopping trip.. couldn't find any Jergens which was first choice, no Sanctuary Spa and no inshower ones of any sort!

Need a bigger Boots.

Any body oil will work, it doesn't necessarily need to be marketed as 'in shower'.

As long as you take a bit of care not to spill a lot on the floor. If you're worried about that though it would be just as quick and easy to apply the second you step out, while you're still wet.

I loved the sanctuary wet skin jelly one but they've got rid of it. Sometimes appears in TK maxx

Here's the wet skin one
Smells like watermelon and it's got exfoliating acids too

I swim a lot which can make my skin dry, the biggest improvement I've found is switching to shower oil, and then any old moisturiser. I use the l'occitane shower oil, almond or Shea it's also nice in the bath. Even if I only moisturise half the time it doesn't matter when I'm using the oil in the shower, it's great for shaving your legs too

Snowjokes · 27/04/2023 22:07

Another sanctuary wet skin fan here. Its
simple and quick which means I actually use it! Normally on 3for2 in boots, or I find it in TK Maxx often.

Doesn’t make the shower slippery - you turn off shower, slap it on, get out and towel dry as normal. So it doesn’t touch the shower floor.

WildFlowerBees · 27/04/2023 22:13

Plain coconut oil, chuck it on after your shower when the skins still wet, leaves your skin feeling great for a couple of days.

morelippy · 27/04/2023 22:19

Thank you

I've ordered sanctuary spa recommendations and am looking forward to trying them
