I need a fabulous birthday dress

It’s my 30th next month and I’m struggling to find a dress for my party.

I want something utterly fabulous and stand out, sexy without being trashy but nothing is grabbing me!

I’m 5”3, size 8 on top and 10 on the bottom, small bust but curvier hips and bum. I like my legs but would definitely consider midi or full length. Light brown hair and will have a subtle tan on the night. Nothing frilly or tent like, and most importantly nothing ordinary! Budget £500.

I'm not sure of your style but the Nadine Marabi dresses always look really special. Check out Vinted for once worn.

Wolf & Badger have the best statement dresses, IMO. Very far from ordinary!

Do you have a favourite (or hated) colour or fabric in mind; metallic/tulle/sequins/feathers?

Pretty much open to any colour although I’d probably like to stay away from navy and black. Absolutely open to sequins, tulle and feathers! Basically, I’m trying to avoid anything that you could find a dupe of on sites such as pretty little thing.

I liked this dress as the top has a sort of 60s feel but it looks massively short and I don’t want to spend my night pulling it down! Love love this but black is so drab 😴

I found it in blue! But it’s even more over budget. I may need to just use my credit card.

Thank you so much for your suggestion everyone. I’ve bitten the bullet and ordered the blue 16arlington dress and also a cerise full length satin dress that I’m quite sure would draw accusations of being far too revealing so I daren’t even post it ha!
