To miss the actual shop topshop?

My most favourite clothes I bought were early 2000s topshop. I even went to the Oxford Street one (only been to London twice) and its one of my favourite memories of a shop.
I miss the clothes and style and the atmosphere there so much!

Anyone else?

Miss it so much. I was rarely in the Oxford Street branch, but my work is right by what was “my Topshop” and I used to wander round most lunchtimes. I had a lunch hour “route” of John Lewis, Jigsaw, Topshop, Warehouse. All gone now and the only clothes shops left are New Look and Next, neither of which are my bag.

Topshop was amazing. I loved it in the early 2000s. Probably up until 2015? I loved their tea dresses, Kate Moss ranges, their Tall range for skinny jeans. I had their chunky cardigans too. I loved their make range with the white and black striped packaging. The lipsticks were particularly great. Oh, and I have their bright blue and cream Teddy coats. Beautiful.

Does anyone remember the hairdressers in the basement floor?
I remember getting my hair done there once & feeling like a million dollars 😆 and the cafe down there too?

Awww yes! worked at a large city store as a student from 2005-2007 and full time for a little while. BEST. JOB. EVER! I still can’t believe they hired me as I was a bit emo and hardly stylish but I made great friends there. Crazy Nights out after work! Lock in shopping evenings. Loved it when the new collections came out and the store would be all tidy, fresh and new. The only thing I disliked was the pressure to sell store cards

I just noticed I spelt charity shop as chairlift shop 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Oh.. Being a Northerner (who's local Topshop was the size of a cupboard and the most expensive shop in Town bar Next) I thought that Chairlift was some edgy London store that sold vintage 😂

It was absolutely brilliant. I also loved the Top Shop concession in Selfridges in early 2000s. I had an amazing wardrobe in those days, I remember a beautiful silk dress that I wore and wore.

I don’t know how things work in terms of copyright and all that jazz in terms of who owns the past designs but maybe ASOS might consider mining the Topshop archives and bringing back and a handful of designs every season that were popular in the past.
