Oh, Califrau, love that website. Now I know where Trinny and Susannah pinched their ideas from.

I have a dress very similar to this one. Good to know that it officially suits my figure-of-eight figure.

What about something like that? I have dressed it up or down, depending on the occasion.

Lulumama · 11/02/2008 22:06

i thikn without the jeans and with a decent bra it would be lovely, just right for shcneebly's colouring

but i am sooooo not a fashionista

fishie · 11/02/2008 22:07

then go with the monsoon front sash thing, my sister is similar shape and looks lovely in them. i cannot get them to zip up despite being three sizes smaller.

schneebly · 11/02/2008 22:08

lulumama - you are sadly mistaked about my boobs! My asda bras must be doing the job lol!

quote from me taken from a recent thread about things your children have said or done...

"DS1 (4.6) drew a picture of spiderman today and I asked him who the other person was in the picture and he said 'That's Mary-Jane, spiderman's sweetheart' I then noticed that Mary-Jane had 2 circles on front of her top so I asked him what they were and he said 'that's Mary-Janes boobies!'

They were quite low down - obviously mine are the only ones he has seen "

thanks to everyone for their help - think I might use this as an excuse to get some lone shopping time next weekend and have a look at what is in the shops! Will let you know if I get something.

Are you more comfortable in trousers? No reason why you shouldn't wear them (just a thought)

Millarkie · 11/02/2008 22:15

Bravissimo do dresses for the large norked now - including a 'little black dress' and quite a dressy number.

If you can't get tartan shoes, how about the reverse, a tartan dress and black shoes:

What is the quality like Califrau? I may place an order.

colditz · 11/02/2008 23:28

Brown with biggish gold handbag. Not black.

I was thinking workwear, although may have a peek at evening wear.

Yes some of the trousers look a bit off.
