Shapewear body that is not a thong style

I’m urgently looking for a black shapewear bodysuit that isn’t a thong style, can anyone help? I just can’t stand thong-style pants. It would be to wear over my usual pants, and under a tight-fitting dress.

I’ve looked at the Skims body that also covers the thighs, but I don’t know how that would work for going to the loo? I’ve also tried the John Lewis body (someone on here recommended), but it didn’t do much smoothing or holding in.

It’s for a couple of work events that I’m quite nervous about, so I want to feel comfortable.

thank you!

OP, as you are looking for something to wear with a dress, you might wish to have a rethink and go for a control slip. For me this does the job, is comfortable and far easier when you want a wee than anything that does up on the crotch.

If you do go for a body and wear knickers underneath as well (they are really not made to be worn like that), I think you could be quite uncomfortable and in a tight dress could appear as VPL on speed.

OP, I hope it works for you. I wear them regularly with fitted dresses and you can wear your own style of bra with it.
